Gady Jacoby holds a Ph.D. in Finance from York University in 1999 and is Professor of Finance at the Asper School of Business and an adjunct faculty of Baruch college, The City University of New York and New York University (NYU). He is also the Stuart Clark Professor in Financial Management and has chaired the Finance Area Ph.D. Committee since 1999.
Professor Jacoby brings to the class over 30 years of experience in consultancy and financial analysis. The focus of Professor Jacoby's research and consulting work is on the subjects of fixed-income securities, asset-pricing models, market microstructure, and behavioral finance. He has published extensively in financial journals, including the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Financial Markets, Journal of Financial Research, Applied Financial Economics, Journal of Applied Finance, and Research in International Business and Finance. Professor Jacoby is also a highly sought after speakers and besides holding lecturing positions at New York University (NYU) and the University of Melbourne, and he also taught in China and Uruguay.
