Workshop Objectives

This workshop is designed for human resource, talent management, and business leaders who are responsible for executive performance and career management within their division or across the whole organisation. The workshop provides an overview of methods and practices for executive and career coaching. This workshops provides an overview of coaching practice and how it is used to develop internal careers and to help senior executives achieve their potential. The session uses a mixture of presentation and interactive dialogue to review key elements of high performance internal coaching. Participants will leave with knowledge of the major coaching models, an overview of the core coaching practices and methodologies and the major issues relating to designing and deploying internal coaching programs.

International Renowned Master Trainer

Mr. Mark Powell

Mr. Powell has worked across Asia Pacific for the past 9 years. He is the regional manager for Talent2 career transitioning business in Asia and concurrently the Asian based director for global coaching company Praetsa International. He is also a former senior executive search consultant and has in this capacity interviewed thousands of executives across Asia and been involved in over 100 senior placements for global banking, financial services and consulting companies. He has been personally ranked two years in succession in the Asiamoney Headhunters poll. His prior experience includes 12 years with large international companies: Citibank, Macquarie Bank and Shell, where he held senior line management positions in sales, marketing and product management.

He is a NLP trained facilitator and a trained executive coach and combines these formal processes with decades of pragmatic business experience in his coaching of senior executives. Mr. Powell holds a Bach of Economics (Qld Uni) ; Dip of Education (Qld Uni);Grad Dip Business Administration (QUT); Grad Dip Applied Finance. He is a Fellow of Securities Institute of Australasia. He is a graduate of the Coach U Fast Track Program and is a member of the International Coach Federation. He is a regular speaker and presenter at events in Asia
