Mr. Edwards was the Deputy Attorney-General of Hong Kong from 1990 to 1995 following a distinguished 25 year legal career in the British Foreign Office. He served as Legal Adviser successively to the British Embassy, Bonn, the UK Mission to the UN, New York and the British Embassy, Washington DC. He was Deputy Legal Adviser to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1989. Mr. Edwards was General-Counsel and Director of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, Austria between 1977 and 1980.
Mr. Edwards is on the Panel of Mediators of the Singapore Mediation Center, the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre Panel of Accredited Mediators and the US-China Business Mediation Panel. He specialises in mediating construction and commercial disputes. He is Adjunct Professor at the Singapore Management University, teaching Ethics, Corporate Responsibility and Good Governance. He has been a qualified solicitor for over 40 years.
