Professor Dan Levin

 Ph.D in Business and Applied Economics, Wharton Business School
Dr. Levin had his Ph.D in Business and Applied Economics at The Wharton School, and was on the faculty of Wharton School, Tel Aviv University and The Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Currently he is at the international MBA program at the Helsinki School of Economics and Business, and at Baruch College EMSF - CUNY program at Taiwan, Hong Kong and China. Dr. Levin is an expert on the use and assessment of advanced technologies in various business and military applications. He was a board member in numerous companies and currently he is on the board of Polar Investments.
Professor Christopher Hessel

 Ph.D in Finance, NYU Stern Business School
Professor Hessel is a full time member of the Zicklin School of Business teaching a full spectrum of courses ranging from undergraduate introduction to finance courses to Graduate advanced electives in risk management. He is also a member of the faculty for the executive masters in finance program. Professor graduated NYU Stern school with a PhD in Finance. Over his career he has published many scholarly papers in financial journals. For the past 16 years Professor Hessel has be running in-house executive training programs for banks and corporations and has hosted conferences in 21 countries for companies like Euromoney Financial Training, and Linton Capital Markets.
Professor Roger Mesznik

 Ph.D. and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business, Columbia University
Roger Mesznik has more than twenty five year experience lecturing, teaching, and consulting on Finance, Corporate Finance, Financial Markets and Instruments, Financial Strategy and Planning, International Business, Managerial Accounting, and in training senior executives and MBA students.
Mr. Mesznik has taught at the Graduate Business School of Columbia University since 1982. Mr. Mesznik has taught or is teaching at the Stern School of Business at New York University; at INSEAD in France (Fontainebleau); at Baruch College (The Zicklin School) of CUNY; at L'Université de Sherbrooke in Quebec, (taught intermittently in French), at Kuwait University in Kuwait; at the Catholic University in Lisbon, and at the Donau-Universität in Austria (taught intermittently in German). Mr. Mesznik has also lectured in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, in Taiwan, and at the Technische Universität in Vienna, and in the joint Columbia-Berkeley executive MBA program.
Mr. Mesznik is a frequent lecturer and consultant to corporations and multi-national and international institutions on finance, financial management, and economic analyses. Professor Kenneth Mischel

 Ph.D in Finance from Columbia University.
Kenneth Mischel is an Associate Professor of Finance in the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, City University of New York. He got his PHD in Finance from Columbia University. His research interests include security pricing, risk management and the history of ideas about chance and its management. He has published numerous essays and book reviews in a wide variety of scholarly journals. His speciality includes advanced financial management with emphasis on behavioral finance.
Professor Foued Ayari 
 PhD in Financial Economics City University of New York
MS from the University of Paris XIII
Dr Foued Ayari received his PhD in Financial Economics from the City University of New York and his MS from the University of Paris XIII (France). His teaching and research interests are Credit Derivatives and International Finance. Professor Ayari is now teaching for Baruch College and Pace University and has worked for the Financial Research Unit of the New York State Banking Department on credit derivatives, financial stability and Basel II.
Professor Turan Bali

 Ph.D. in Financial Economics City University of New York
Professor Bali received his Ph.D. in Financial Economics in 1998 from the City University of New York. His research interests are in the areas of asset pricing, financial risk management and derivatives. Professor Bali's research has been presented at a number of international conferences and has been published in the Journal of Finance, Journal of Business, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Economics Dynamics and Control, Annals of Operations Research, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Empirical Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of International Money and Finance, Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Portfolio Management, Journal of Futures Markets, Journal of Economics and Business, Journal of Fixed Income, Economics Letters, Risk, and others. Professor Armen Hovakimian 
 Ph.D. in Finance, Boston College
Professor Hovakimian received his Ph.D. in Finance in 1998 from Boston College. His research interests are in the areas of corporate finance and financial institutions. His recent research has focused on empirical tests of corporate capital structure theories and the effects of deposit insurance on commercial banks' risk taking behavior. Professor Hovakimian's research has been presented at a number of international conferences and has been published in the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, the Journal of Business, and others. At Baruch College, Professor Hovakimian has taught undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. courses in financial management and corporate finance.
Professor Viktoria Dalko 
 Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Professor Dalko received her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Besides teaching at the EMSF program, she is also an instructor at Harvard University. Before coming to Baruch, she was teaching in the Department of World Business of Thunderbird after teaching at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for 4 years. In Europe, she worked at the University of Munich in Germany and Budapest University of Economic Sciences in Hungary.
She served as Chief of Staff of the Committee of Budget, Taxes and Finances of the Hungarian Parliament and advisor to the President of the National Bank of Hungary before her academic career. Her research interests include preventing financial crises, health improvement and economic development, trust building for corporations among others.

Professor Joseph Yagil

Professor Joseph Yagil received his Ph.D in Finance from the University of Toronto, Canada. His teaching and research interests include financial management, investment analysis, derivative products and behavioral finance. He published more than fourty journal articles, and was a visiting professor of finance at several universities including Columbia, NYU and Rutgers. He also provides consulting for business firms and organizations.

Advanced degrees in economics and public policy Princeton University(USA) and Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris, France.
Professor Nair, lead economist at the World Bank, Washington DC, USA, has over eighteen years assisting corporate and government decision-makers design and implement policies and organizational development strategies to improve business performance, focusing on telecommunications, financial services and capacity building. As team leader in over twenty international assignments, he has helped prepare and implement projects, coached and advised senior government and business executives, and presented to international conferences on business competitiveness and strategic change, and investment opportunities in emerging markets. His experience has spanned the United States, Europe, Latin America, and Asia/Pacific regions as well as Africa
Mr. Nair has managed multi-disciplinary and multi-national teams with financial, legal, engineering, and other technical expertise, and provided advisory services to banks, telecommunications operators, private business associations, central government agencies and local government administrations, and non-profit associations.
